About SPRAVATO®
(esketamine nasal spray, CIII)
Nuplazid is the first and only FDA-approved prescription medicine specifically indicated for hallucinations and delusions
associated with Parkinson’s disease psychosis.
What is SPRAVATO®?
- Non-competitive NMDA receptor antagonist
- FDA-indicated for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults, as monotherapy or with an oral antidepressant
- FDA-indicated, with an oral antidepressant, for depressive symptoms in adults with MDD with acute suicidal ideation or behavior
How it is administered?
- Administered by the patient under direct observation of a healthcare provider in a certified healthcare setting
- Patients must be monitored by a healthcare provider for at least 2 hours after administration
- Available only through the SPRAVATO® REMS due to risks including sedation, dissociation, respiratory depression, and abuse/misuse
- Must never be dispensed directly to a patient for home use
